Area full of alternative routes
In Vernazza there are routes linking the coastal towns of the Cinque Terre, all accessible with just over an hour’s walk from the village center, for example, the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Reggio located near a ridge and a little more further along the path, the Chapel of San Bernardo. The route is also graced by the presence of olive trees and vines that on these hills express their full beauty as sheltered from the wind and with excellent exposure to the sun in order to give birth to the good white wine and the fortified wine of Cinque Terre known as the “Sciacchetrà”.
