Thanks to Adrian Willaert’s musical abilities who arrived in Venice in 1527 at the age of thirty-seven where he held the prestigious assignment Chair in the Chapel of St. Cappelle. Adrian was asked to bring back music to Venice which was undervalued by the Roman school. Thus began the advent of many composers who for almost two centuries brought Venetian school music to the highest standards.
